Our War

For the coloring of this comic it was a challenge to capturenthe specific ambiance of World War II in the interiours and clothing. In close collabration with Mario Boon we managed to find a convincing colorpalet to get the emotion across of these confusing and frightning years in European history.

‘Our war’ tells the story of the young resistance fighter Piet Swijsen and Karel Verstoffelt, eastern fronter and guard in the concentration camp of Breendonk.
