Our War

Mario Boon asked me to color this album made in collaboration with, among others, dermatologist Thomas Maselis in order to encourage readers to do self-examination every month or two months. 

The comic is a story about Jacqueline – Jackie to the friends -, who loves the sun. He’s her big Friend! As soon as she can, she greedily enjoys his rays. Thirty years later, Jackie has to live with the unpleasant consequences of her love for the sun when she gets skincancer. Her protective daughter Caro also has a suspicious looking birthmark.
